Recently our team transformed a backyard corner into a fun and inviting family gathering spot featuring a new playset and custom stone patio. A portion of the slightly sloping yard was removed to be level with the existing corner of the property, extending the usable space to accommodate the new paved patio. This area was then framed with a retaining wall of treated lumber posts with beveled ends to define the space and add an element of visual interest, and the surface around the play area was outlined with these same posts to contain the natural fill.

Our stonemasons configured a custom pattern of pavers to create a multi-functional patio that fits proportionately in the yard, with space for seating options, a table for snacks or a meal, and a fire pit to get together and relax at the end of the day. A sturdy wooden play set was chosen to fit the family’s needs offering creative and healthy outdoor activity, and was expertly installed for unlimited backyard fun and imaginative adventures. Once this new area was finished, our landscape team made sure the surrounding grass was healthy and neatly edged to complete this backyard transformation.
