A new tick may be heading our way
For the first time in 50 years, a new tick species has entered the U.S., known as the Asian long-horned tick. First discovered in New Jersey, it has migrated through New York and other east coast states, and experts believe it could easily enter Connecticut. While no human disease has been linked to this species in the U.S., it does carry a deadly virus in Asia, and may be able to survive the cold of winter. Gerbert & Sons uses the most effective, organic treatments to keep your family and pets safe and protected from the threat of ticks, and will stay up-to-date on the latest developments concerning this new invader.
