While voluntary this year for Easton, Weston and Wilton, it will become mandatory in 2024.

Soaker hoses are strategically placed around trees and shrubs and throughout planting beds, so the water flows directly into the root systems. This approach prevents loss due to evaporation, allowing the water to go deeper and stay longer, resulting in a healthier and more beautiful landscape. Because of the water saving advantages of this approach, Aquarion has no restrictions in place for the use of drip irrigation and soaker hoses. This system can be reconfigured as your property’s needs change and timers may be added to further increase efficiency.
