Years ago as a student at the Pinnacle School in Stamford, Daniel Gerbert and his amazing class created their visions of the joy of the holiday season. Because of the successful program at Pinnacle, Dan thrived socially and graduated in 2020 during the pandemic, and is currently a junior at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. He began his freshman year in the fall of 2020 as an Aviation Major. He has always had an interest in planes and he is now fulfilling his dream. Dan has made the Dean’s List 4 times already in his academic career there and is also an avid Aviation Photographer. We taught our children that you should always reach for your goals and never let your disability limit your dreams. This year we ask that you think of Autism Speaks when you are doing your year-end giving. I know we are!
