Our earlier January post highlighted a recent patio and entryway renovation by Gerbert & Sons in collaboration with Barbara Wilson, Landscape Architect. In addition to these hardscaping upgrades, we installed beautiful plantings around the home, courtyard and shed to complement this new stonework. Height appropriate trees and shrubs gave the existing backyard shed a refreshing new facelift.

Varieties were chosen to add contrasting color and texture between the home and the new patio pavers. Our horticultural team will suggest the most appropriate species for each area of your yard depending on sun, water and compatibility with existing plantings.

The client desired a minimalist yet formal appearance to coordinate with the design of their home. Foundation plantings were carefully chosen to create seasonal interest with summer flowering hydrangeas and boxwood and hollies for the winter, along with appealing ground covers to complete larger areas.
