We recommend you first read up on each of your plants’ unique needs, as some may require more water than others. Also, observe all of your plants regularly and look for signs of dryness in the soil. By simply using a finger you can feel for moisture, if the first inch or so is dry then water away! When you water give your plant a lengthy and deep drink, you want to be certain that the roots are able to grow strongly and all the way to the bottom of your container.
Time of Day Matters for Container Watering
Lastly, make an effort to water in the morning. Plants have been proven to be more receptive to moisture early in the day because less is lost to evaporation. It will also guarantee they have enough to endure the day’s sun, whereas irrigating at night will lead to unnecessary drying before sunrise.
