Multi-Sports Courts and the Many Wonders of Mulch
Let the games begin!
A multipurpose sports court is a wonderful way to invest in what matters most: quality time for your busy, hard-working family. Having a multi-game sport court right in your own backyard brings the whole family together for healthy fun and makes your home a gathering place, while adding to your property value! Gerbert & Sons installs attractive SnapSports® backyard courts, custom designed to fit your family’s preferences and your property’s landscape, as shown in their photo to the right. These courts easily convert between such sports as basketball, tennis, soccer, badminton, shuffleboard, and kickball, so there’s something to entice every member of the family to come out and play. This versatile surface is also the perfect place to jump rope, learn to ride a bike, or even host a party. Some courts are specially designed to be flooded in the winter to become backyard ice rinks. We can also resurface your existing tennis court or convert it to a new multi-sport version, resulting in more hours of fun for everyone. These courts are built for a lifetime of use in all weather conditions, with very little maintenance required, allowing you to spend more time engaged in friendly competition and interactive family time, creating lasting memories.

The benefits of mulch and planting the garden!
With watering restrictions still a vital issue for our area, Gerbert & Sons encourages the use of mulch as an additional layer for water conservation. Mulch serves to retain valuable moisture and helps reduce soil erosion, while supplying nutrients and suppressing weed growth. It is also a wonderful aesthetic touch, adding contrasting color and texture to highlight your property’s plantings. Our experts can recommend the perfect type and color mulch for your landscape, including a certified playground mulch for children’s areas. Late spring to early summer is also the perfect time to have us trim and clean up the edges of your lawn and plant beds, making everything neat and to showing off your property at its best!
Now that frost is no longer a threat, gardens are waiting to be planted with this season’s vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers, melons and beans. Don’t forget- to reduce the chance of fungal disease issues, you should be sure to plant your tomatoes in a different spot each year. Spring is also great time to check on your houseplants to see if they need to be moved to larger containers. Thoroughly water the plant and gently remove it from the pot to inspect the roots. If they have circled around the rootball, or if they are so dense there is very little soil visible, it’s time to repot into a more spacious home so they can continue to thrive.
Let Gerbert & Sons add the finishing touches to your landscape.
